Periodic Inspection and Testing Certificates
The purpose of an EICR (also known as periodic inspection and testing of an electrical installation), is to determine, so far as is reasonably practicable, whether the installation is in a satisfactory condition for continued service.
The EICR tests are used to help identify any faults or defects which could require improvement and will ensure the continued operation of the installation in a safe and effective manner.
It is generally recommended that an EICR should be carried out on your Home on a 10 yearly bases or on a 5 yearly bases for privately rented properties or when there is a change of occupancy in a dwelling.
We would like to ensure that all your portable appliances and equipment are safe to use on a yearly basis.
We would attach a PASS or FAIL sticker to each item. If we were to find any faulty items we would inform you immediately and once all tests were complete we would issue your business a certificate.
£2.00 per item ( plus a fixed hourly rate on less than 10 items )
Homeowners often ask for, or obtain a condition report as part of a house sale.
Similarly, landlords with an increasing awareness of their electrical safety obligations undertake regular periodic inspections in relation to their rental properties.
